Wayuu mochilas are weaved by the local artisan women from the Wayuu villages in Colombia where the tradition of crochet and weaving is a symbol of womanhood, status and intelligence.
The skills are passed down from generation to generation.
Each bag is one of a kind, takes 10-15 days to be made, and all designs and
colour choices are unique.
We are working alongside with Individual artisans and merchants to provide a safe virtual space for buyers and sellers of La Guajira. The artisans set their own prices and are also able to tell you their story and give their voice, so we don't lose focus.
50% of profits on our Wayuu collection goes directly to the artisans of Colombia.
